Day One

Leaving the local area, in the morning we'll head to our hotel. Once here you'll have time to freshen up and relax before dinner is served.

Day Two

This morning we head to the beautiful hill-top city of Lincoln. Each year, the city and its German twin, Neustadt, get together in the streets surrounding the magnificent cathedral and castle for a spectacular Christmas market.

Wander the 250-plus seasonal stalls, enjoying the organists, carol singers and the heady aroma of mulled wine while browsing for festive decorations, souvenirs and unusual gifts. You may also like to visit recently restored Lincoln Castle (entry fee payable locally) or imposing Lincoln Cathedral - home to one of the four remaining copies of Magna Carta.

Day Three

Today we'll head home, stopping on the way at Nottingham's Winter Wonderland and Victorian Christmas market to browse the stalls and soak up a little more Yuletide cheer.

After the chance to have lunch (payable locally) we'll continue our journey home, arriving back at your original pick-up point by the mid evening.

Lincoln market was ok, crowded but interesting. Nottingham was much more accessible which made it better and easier to move around.
The hotel was warm and comfortable, but the food was not to the standard we would have expected.

Thank you for your comments. We are pleased that you found the markets interesting, if crowded, and that you were happy with your hotel room. However, we were sorry to learn that you were dissatisfied with the quality of the meals served. The hotel endeavours to provide a menu which will appeal to a variety of palates and we are very sorry if you felt that on this occasion that the food was not up to the standard expected. Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

Oxford Friends
Bus driver drove into a bus stop and smashed the rear windows. This meant that another coach had to be sent, which led to shuttle cars having to leave passengers at service stations, with no way of being contacted or anyone contacting us!

When the tour guide arrive she was not friendly, informative or helpful.

The coach was in a poor state, broken seats, cold and smellie. The journey took nearly 6hours - shocking. The list goes in and NEVER would I do this trip again

Romford Couple
We asked for nearside seats and were told a few days prior that it was arranged. It wasn,t. As we were first pick up and others had nearside seats we were disappointed. The pick ups were widespread and the journey from Romford to Sheffield took 10 hours including one 45 minute break. The hotel had no hot water, not their fault but certainly not ours. Alarm went of at 01.15am evacuated. Alarm went off again at 0700 and 0850. Food on Saturday was cold. Long journey home.

The markets we were taken to were very 2nd rate. Lincoln is a beautiful City but the markets had a lot to be desired - basically all food - and to much time spent there. Nottingham - we were given 4 hours. The markets we saw in 20 minutes and then sat in the shopping centre reading the newspaper. A positive waste of time and should have been on the road sooner to get home. There were plenty of ordinary shops that we can all get at home if we want to.
