If you're planning a cruise from Southampton, you'll find that getting to the port is made simple thanks to the city's great transport links. As well as car and train, there are a number of coach services that serve the city, and Southampton Airport is also a mere five miles from the port itself.
Southampton Central station is located just one mile from the cruise terminals, with regular local and cross-country services. There are frequent trains to London Waterloo, London Victoria and Gatwick. Taxis are readily available outside of the train station for those in need of transfers to the terminals.
Directions by car vary depending on which of the four terminals you will be departing from. For City and Mayflower cruise terminals, follow the A33 (West Quay Road) towards the Western Docks, then follow signs for Dock Gate 10. For Ocean and QEII terminals, follow signs for Dock Gate 4, just off the A33 (Platform Road).
You'll find facilities including toilets, seating areas, and hot and cold food options in each of the four terminals. Keep in mind that currently none of the cruise terminals have an ATM.
