We could create a separate website filled solely with the letters we've had praising our tour managers over the years. They're the heart and soul of our tours, bringing to life the places you visit, providing colour and background to the sights and attractions, and ensuring that your holiday operates as smoothly as possible.

Our included and optional excursions lie at the heart of what makes a Newmarket Holidays tour so special. Every year we strive to find new, fascinating excursions to include in our range and increase the value of every one of our holidays.

Our holidays are carefully arranged to offer you the added convenience of a departure point that's closer to home. Choose between flights from airports across the UK, as well as major international hubs like Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.

Whether it's just a bed for a night, or a place to base yourself for a longer stay, the accommodation featured on a Newmarket tour is invariably a highlight of your holiday experience. Each hotel will have been selected for its comfort and convenience, and for the range of amenities that it has to offer.

Although much of your tour is prearranged, you'll still have time to do your own thing, whether on the free days we built into most itineraries, or during the evening when dinner is not included. We even have a range of holidays in hand–picked resorts, where the emphasis is firmly on putting your feet up, and you really can get away from it all.

Our holidays are group-travel experiences, shared with like-minded people whose interests often match your own. Our largest groups (generally no more than 50) are on our European holidays. Tour groups in the US and further afield tend to be smaller, and we even have some special Small Group Tours made up of just 16-24 guests.

On many holidays it's the things you're not expecting to see or do that are the most memorable – encountering the rare and unusual, an impromptu meal in an unforgettable setting, a particularly spectacular sunset...

On selected holidays you have the option of arranging your own travel, and joining us at the destination airport or at the hotel. Leaving you to take the route you prefer, and even travel our earlier and return later if you choose.

In addition to land-based holidays, Newmarket offers a vast range of cruises to destinations around the world, aboard a fleet of fine, British-operated, smaller-sized cruise ships departing from a choice of UK ports.
