Time spent in the island's capital, Valletta, is a worthwhile addition to any Malta cruise stop. Not only is it a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its tiny size makes it wonderfully walkable, making it easy to explore its many highlights, including St John’s Cathedral and the Presidential Palace.
