Brimming with ancient, dense rainforests, Borneo is not only one of the world’s largest islands, it’s also one of the most beautiful. The Bornean orangutan, differing from the Sumatran orangutan with its broader face, shorter beard and slightly darker colour, is critically endangered. On a tour to this Asian island, you can visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre to get a glimpse of one of these beautiful creatures. Only 104,000 Bornean orangutans are left.
