What is an escorted tour?
An escorted tour is a trip with an expertly planned itinerary that includes travel, transfers, accommodation and sightseeing tours. You’ll be accompanied on transfers and tours by a specialist local guide that knows the location well. Tours vary by theme and focus, with a number of optional excursions and extensions giving you the chance to tailor your experience to suit your own tastes and interests.

What is included on an escorted tour?
What is included differs from tour to tour, but broadly speaking all escorted tours include accommodation and transfers, with the majority also including return travel, typically a flight. Escorted tours also include some meals, although board-type varies by tour. A number of guided excursions or tours are also included, and are often accompanied by several optional tours and extensions, together with time to explore under your own steam or simply rest and relax.
