Located to the north-east of Belfast, Belfast Harbour is about three miles away from the city centre. Cruises from Belfast are easily accessible for holidaymakers from across Northern Ireland, with the port boasting easy links onto the motorway network and the nearby airports enabling seamless journeys to the terminal. Cruise from Belfast to Northern European destinations including the Norwegian Fjords.
The Port of Belfast has great transport links, with Lanyon Station less than two miles away and the city centre just a 10-minute walk away. There are free shuttle buses from the town centre to the docks. The George Best Belfast City Airport is just five minutes from the city centre, and Belfast International Airport is a 30-minute drive away.
By train: Irish Rail operates services to Lanyon Station, and offer easy access to passengers travelling from Dublin or elsewhere in the Republic of Ireland.
By car: The port is situated close to the motorway, off Junction 1 of the M2. Follow the M2 to Old Channel Road in Belfast. Take the exit towards Queen's Island from the M3 and continue on Old Channel Road to the harbour. There is a large car park with over 300 spaces in front of the terminal building.
Please note that passengers can’t walk out of the docks to the city centre so will need to take a taxi or shuttle bus.
