WHAT DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE?
Day One: Depart from London Tilbury
Board Columbus in Tilbury, today, and settle in to your cabin as she prepares to set sail.
Day Two: At sea
Spend your first full day on board relaxing, and getting to know the ship, her crew and your fellow passengers.
Day Three: Oslo
Oslo, the Norwegian capital, welcomes Columbus today. Step ashore to find a lively, friendly city, waiting to be discovered. Head off by yourself, or join a shore excursion, perhaps to the Viking Ships museum, where a trio of ancient craft are lovingly preserved, or to the Kon-Tiki museum, where explorer Thor Heyerdahl's fragile balsa-wood craft is displayed.
Day Four: Kristiansand
Today we'll stop in Kristiansand, Norway's fifth city, on the country's southern coast. One of Norway's most popular tourist destinations, Kristiansand is renowned for its beaches and Palmesus beach festival, its thriving creative arts scene, and as the home of Norway's largest zoo.
Day Five: Stavanger
The prosperous former fishing capital of Stavanger, its sleek modern buildings (especially the striking Norwegian Petroleum Museum) contrasting with the white-painted, clapboard houses of its waterfront and old town, is Columbus' final Norwegian landfall. Step ashore to wander before enjoying the breathtaking passage though Lysefjord, where the towering Preikestolen rock formation soars above the waters.
Day Six: At sea
Spend your final day on board relaxing and reliving the memories your cruise as Columbus heads for home.
Day Seven: Arrive in London Tilbury
Bid farewell to Columbus as you disembark at the end of your cruise.
Days above marked with an anchor include ports where you will be transferred to shore by landing boat. These ports may be inaccessible for customers with mobility difficulties as a result. Any days not listed will be spent at sea.
British Citizens will need a full, 10-year passport to travel on this cruise. Since some countries require visitors to be valid for at least six months after the return date of the cruise we recommend that all customers ensure that this is the case. Holders of non-British passports should check with the relevant embassies to see if any requirements and restrictions exist for any countries visited during the cruise.
