Compact and friendly, Bergen was once a great trading city within the Hanseatic League. It remains Norway's second city and, despite being sheltered from the sea by its seven hills and outlying islands, is unashamedly nautical in outlook. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Fløibanen funicular to the summit of Fløyfjellet.
Your final full day is spent at sea, no doubt reliving the memories of your cruise holiday as Marco Polo heads for home.
Arrive: 0915hrs
Bid farewell to Marco Polo and all your fellow travellers, today, as you disembark at the end of your cruise.
Days marked above with an anchor include ports where you will be transferred to shore by landing boat. These ports may be inaccessible for customers with mobility difficulties as a result. Any days not listed will be spent at sea.
