An artistic city, Nashville is still as vibrant as it was years ago; the ‘District’, features many music clubs and honky-tonks with live music, while the Frist Center for Visual Arts hosts stunning exhibits for art lovers. As well as music, Nashville is also proud of its history. Once known as the ‘Athens of the South’. The city constructed The Pathenon, a replica of the famous Greek structure to pay homage to its nickname – earned for having several institutions of higher education in the city.
