Certainly one of the world’s most famous waterfalls, Niagara falls straddles the international border between Canada and the United States. Spend a fascinating visit taking in the natural wonder – you can decide whether to simply look and explore or to get stuck into the outdoor activities available. Venture right up to the foot of the falls on a boat cruise (waterproof ponchos are given out as you don’t get wet when you get closer to the waterfall). Take a helicopter ride above the tumult. For a sweeping birds eye view over the falls and the Niagara River. Round off your visit with lunch from the viewpoint of an overlooking restaurant.
Head over to the Niagara Falls History Museum and learn more about the town of Niagara Falls and its history.
