What better way to spend the Christmas break than being looked after by Marco Polo's attentive crew? Step aboard in Bristol for a cruise into the warm waters of the Atlantic. Call at four sun-kissed Canary Isles and the glorious garden-paradise of Madeira. Discover the black-sand beaches and volcanic landscape of Lanzarote, the palm-fringed squares of Vegueta, Las Palmas' old town on Gran Canaria, and the space-age curves of the seafront Auditorio in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Spend a leisurely Christmas Day and New Year's Eve at sea, and explore Madeira's capital, Funchal, as Marco Polo calls here on Boxing Day.
You'll also have opportunities to visit the historic cities of Cork and Lisbon, explore Gibraltar on New Year's Day, and perhaps visit Santiago de Compostela's vast, ornate cathedral on optional shore excursion from La Coruna.
