WHAT DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE?
Day One: Depart London Tilbury
Embark at London Tilbury before Magellan sails at the start of this unique pre-Christmas mini-cruise to France.
Day Two: Rouen, France
Magellan navigates into the heart of Normandy, today, heading to the ancient city of Rouen. We'll spend the night here, giving you the chance to explore. See the Place du Vieux-Marche, site of Saint Joan's martyrdom, the famous one-handed mechanical clock and the chalets and stalls of the Christmas Market that shelter beneath the city's stunning Gothic cathedral.
Day Three: Honfleur, France
Today you'll reach Honfleur, set at the mouth of the River Seine. This favourite retreat of the French Impressionists, and its harbour surrounded by gabled houses, are an unforgettable sight at Christmastime as an elegant little Christmas Market springs up around the marina of the Quai Sainte-Catherine. Explore the town, or venture further afield on an excursion to Monet's idyllic house and garden at Giverny or to fashionable Deauville.
Day Four: Zeebrugge, Belgium
This morning, Magellan docks in the Belgian port of Zeebrugge. From there you might choose to head to Bruges on an optional excursion. Explore this charming Belgian city, famous for its picturesque network of canals, fine medieval architecture and magnificent town square, and browse the stalls of its famous Christmas Market.
Day Five: Arrive London Tilbury
Disembark in London Tilbury, and make your way home after a wonderful festive break.
Days marked above with an anchor include ports where you will be transferred to shore by landing boat. These ports may be inaccessible for customers with mobility difficulties as a result. Any days not listed will be spent at sea.
British Citizens will need a full, 10-year passport to travel on this cruise. Since some countries require visitors to be valid for at least six months after the return date of the cruise we recommend that all customers ensure that this is the case. Holders of non-British passports should check with the relevant embassies to see if any requirements and restrictions exist for any countries visited during the cruise.
