    Depart: 2000hrs

    The Dutch maritime city of Rotterdam is Magellan's first port. Step ashore to see the stunning architecture of the Erasmus Bridge and the remarkable Markthal food market. Browse the World-class museums, explore the lovingly preserved Old Harbour and stroll past nearby Delfshaven's step-gabled houses and ancient wharves.

  • Spend today relaxing on board.

  • Arrive: 0800hrs

    Depart: 2000hrs

    This morning we'll tie up in the great natural harbour at Invergordon on Scotland's rugged East Coast. Step ashore to explore, or join an optional shore excursion, perhaps to Loch Ness in search of Nessie. Golfers may head to the fine course at nearby Dornoch, while whisky connoisseurs can make a pilgrimage to the celebrated Glen Ord Distillery.

    Depart: 1400hrs

    Today Magellan arrives in Kirkwall, Orkney's historic capital. Wander the streets and marvel at magnificent St Magnus Cathedral, or join an excursion to fabled Scapa Flow, Churchill's famous Barriers or the Italian Chapel.

  • Arrive: 1000hrs

    Depart: 1900hrs

    Magellan's next stop is the pretty port of Oban on the rugged west coast of Scotland. Take a stroll around the harbour, or join a shore excursion, perhaps to one of the many nearby whisky distilleries, before Magellan sets sail for Irish waters this afternoon.

  • Arrive: 0700hrs

    Depart: 1700hrs

    Early this morning, Magellan arrives in historic Belfast. Explore the city centre, visit the new Titanic Quarter developments that pay homage to the ill-fated vessel, or join an optional excursion to the vast stone staircase of the Giant’s Causeway on the Antrim Coast beyond.

  • Arrive: 0815hrs

    Depart: 1930hrs

    Today Magellan arrives in Dublin. This great city of culture, once home to Joyce, Yeats, Wilde and Swift, is one of Europe’s most engaging capitals. Grafton and O’Connell Streets are popular with visitors, as are the city’s famous bars and pubs, cafes and coffee shops.

  • Relax on board as Magellan sails around the Cornish coast and into the English Channel on her way to France.

  • Arrive: 0700hrs

    Depart: 1630hrs

    Guernsey's St Peter Port welcomes us this morning. See 800-year-old Castle Cornet, which guards the entrance to the harbour, wander the town's cobbled central quarter and make the most of the island's tax-free shopping.

  • Arrive: 0330hrs

    Depart: 1445hrs

    Magellan's last port of call is Honfleur, at the mouth of the River Seine. Wander the streets behind the pretty harbour that once inspired so many of the French Impressionists, or perhaps join an optional excursion into the surrounding countryside.

  • Arrive: 0800hrs

    Bid farewell to Magellan, her crew and all your fellow travellers, this morning, as you disembark at the end of your cruise.
