Following Monday's technical issue affecting NATS air traffic control, UK airports are recovering but disruption is continuing today.
Flights are operating, however knock-on delays and cancellations are still expected while airlines reposition aircraft and crew. Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester are all still working through a backlog.
If you are travelling in the next 72 hours
If your flight is cancelled or significantly delayed, our Customer Operations team is already working through affected bookings and will contact you directly. You do not need to call us to be picked up.
If you are currently on holiday with us
Your tour manager and our Customer Operations team are with you and will be in touch. If your return flight is affected, we will speak to you before you travel to the airport and we will arrange what is needed on the ground.
What we are doing
We have activated our incident response plan. Since then our Customer Operations team has been working through every affected booking individually, looking at flights, transfers, accommodation and tour arrangements for each group.
Information from airlines and airports is still limited and alternative flights are in short supply across the whole market. That means some bookings are taking longer to resolve than we would like. We are prioritising customers who are currently overseas and those due to travel in the next 24 hours.
Contacting us
Our phone lines and inboxes are far busier than normal. If you are travelling more than 72 hours from now, or your query is not urgent, please bear with us and we will come to you. It genuinely helps our team get to the customers who need us most today.
If you need us urgently while you are overseas, please use the emergency number 0330 160 4999.
We are sorry to every customer caught up in this. Our teams are doing everything they can to put things right as quickly as possible.
