Southend Friends
Enjoyed the short trip, mainly to try the ship. We enjoyed ourselves, just enough going on not to be bored. Not too large a ship.

We enjoyed our mini-cruise and had no complaints. Our cabin was a good size and our steward kept it clean and was very pleasant to us. The on board service was very good and we weren't kept waiting long for drinks at the bars; the restaurant table service was excellent and the buffet was kept clean and we always found a table. There were plenty of sun loungers on the various decks and as it was "adult's only" which suited us very well.

We found Antwerp not a very interesting place to go and only spent half day ashore but spent the rest of the day on the sun loungers which was fine. The entertainment seemed amateurish as some of the singers were out of tune! The disco was OK; a Karaoke go down well at the beginning of each night.

There was plenty of information to hand and we spent a full day in Amsterdam with no problem and there is an Information desk immediately as you disembark to help you. We would recommend this ship and the line to our friends and may look at another cruise on the Columbus ourselves. Tilbury docks as well run and we had no problems embarking or disembarking and a there were crew members helping passengers get in the right line for transfer to car parks and taxis which was very helpful as there were a lot of people to organise.

The drinks on board were fairly reasonable but we thought it would have been good to have the drinks package available for our cruise, as we would have bought this beforehand.

One thing we felt a bit taxing was that the muster was over long with a complete roll call that took over an hour!

Our first experience with CMV. Booked it because it was an Adults Only and No fly Cruise. Lived up to our expectations in every respect. Cabin and food both superior to that of other Cruise Lines we have been with. Cliental were well behaved and thankfully we did not witness any drunken or antisocial behaviour which has been pervasive in other Cruise experiences. Good choice of evening entertainment which was all of a high standard. Cruise Director and his Entertainment Team were the epitome of professionalism and gave the impression they genuinely cared about the customers. We will book again with CMV, providing they continue with their Adults only policy.

Worcester Park Couple
Very enjoyable cruise and good value for money. The ship was very friendly and we really enjoyed the onboard entertainment. The only thing that could be improved is the signage for car parking when approaching Tilbury and there was some confusion over what bus was going to what car park at the end of the cruise.
