Arrive in the Indian sub-continent at Chennai, formerly 'Madras', the country's fourth-largest city. 'Clive of India' once worked here, at historic Fort St George, as a humble clerk for the East India Company.

Following more relaxing days aboard your floating home-from-home, arrive in Salalah, the 'Perfume Capital of Arabia'. The ship's final call - perhaps appropriately - is the great city of Lisbon, to which many an adventurer returned from far-off voyages. A last shore excursion will introduce the Portuguese capital, before Magellan begins her two-day passage home.Day 45
