It was absolute chaos when we arrived at Vancouver and took 2 hours to get out of the airport.

We were disappointed with our meal overlooking Niagara as only certain tables had this fabulous view. These rest either looked at the wall or if you were on the side you faced a theme park. This is not how this is sold.

Other than the above our holiday was AMAZING .

Oveerall - Great! Coach drivers and the two guides were excellent, in particular Howard on the eastern part of the trip. He gave an impromptu virtuoso performance on the trumpet which was greatly appreciated. Bill, the driver for the western half of the trip also entertained us with a video of fantastic skiing by his brother, an instructor, in which his younger self also took part. The two guides were very different, but excellent in their own way, knowledgeable and helpful. We could never have seen so much of such a vast country on our own. All the hotels chosen were good.

Just two negatives. Firstly, although the WestJet flight Montreal-Toronto was excellent in all respects, the same cannot be said of Airtransat. Unfortunately, we were on Airtransat for the 10 hr flight to Vancouver and the return journey to the UK from Toronto, 6 hrs. We were very much aware of the length of the flights as the seats were very narrow and uncomfortable. The food was dreadful on both trips, completely unacceptable. Also, the cabin staff were abrupt, unhelpful and downright rude. We were not the only members of the group who had this view. In fact, one couple said they would have happily paid more to travel on a proper airline. I really feel this is something which needs your attention for the future. The other point is that although it was only a small number who went on the helicopter flight over Niagara, the rest of us were 'dumped' at a tourist gift shop in the middle of nowhere and left to cool our heels for over an hour while the guide stayed with the helicopter group. It was very hot (30 degrees) and there was nowhere to sit other than outside in the sun as the cafe part was closed for renovations and we had no transport to go anywhere else.

We did the best of Canada 2 years ago from Toronto to Vancouver but this one from Vancouver was far more superior to the last one due to our tour manager Diane Globe and our drivers Steve (Vancouver side ) and Marina (Toronto side) Diane's knowledge and love of Canada was first class, she goes above and beyond her duty and both drivers exceptional.
Hotels are good, but wow the change in The Banff International in Banff is stunning. Trips are first class. We did the Sulphur Mountain, Banff and our daughter did the helicopter ride over the Rockies . Yes there IS a lot of travelling but that is to be expected for the areas you cover and see
