Horse-racing at Cheltenham
Experience the drama and excitement of the first major National Hunt event of the season on this great-value, two-day break to Cheltenham. Enjoy two full autumn afternoons of the very best horse racing.
Leaving the local area this morning you'll journey to Cheltenham, arriving in the early afternoon for an afternoon of racing culminating in the thrilling Gold Cup.
Your ticket includes entry to the Best Mate Enclosure, directly opposite the main stands, and you'll have access to two Grandstands, marquees and entertainments, not to mention all forms of betting, and refreshments at its Harry Ramsden's restaurant and its bars.
After a thrilling afternoon we'll head to our hotel in time for dinner.
After a leisurely breakfast we'll return to Cheltenham Racecourse, to enjoy an afternoon of racing that culminates in the Greatwood Handicap Hurdle. At the end of the day's racing, we'll head for home, arriving back in the local area by late evening.
It is possible to upgrade your ticket on both days for a small supplement. Tattersalls provides extensive viewing steps, a betting hall, bars, buffets and the lounge on Level Three. Racegoers in this enclosure can also view all the activities behind the stands, including the Paddock and Unsaddling Enclosure, and have access to the Hall of Fame, the Gold Cup Restaurant and the Tented Village.
Tattersalls Enclosure upgrade
Your Tour Manager will have allocated seats for you on the main coach in advance, taking into consideration any special requests wherever possible, and will advise you where to sit as you board the coach. This will be your seat for the duration of the tour. (Seats are not allocated on any connecting services to and from the main coach.)
Coach seating arrangements
Your final travel documents, including the exact time and place of departure, will be sent to you approximately 10 days prior to departure, providing all payments have been made. We are unable to give exact departure times before this.
Joining your holiday
Where meals are not included, your Tour Manager will ensure there are suitable stops made for you to purchase and enjoy lunch and/or dinner each day.
If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.
The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
