Event Information

Nowhere in the world can match Ascot's particular cocktail of stylish atmosphere and top thoroughbred racing. Every year, around £4.5 million in prize money guarantees the very best flat-racing action, including the day's dramatic highlight - the Gold Cup.

Day One

Board our coach at your pick-up point, this morning, and travel to Central London. We'll arrive in the early afternoon, and once there you'll have some time to explore London's West End before returning to the coach for the transfer to your overnight hotel.

Day Two

After a leisurely breakfast, today, we'll head to Ascot. Soak up the unique atmosphere, enjoy lunch and the parade of fashionable outfits, and find a space to watch the Royal Party drive the course from the Golden Gate - marking the start of the day's races. After an afternoon filled with the excitement of high-class flat-racing we'll return to the coach and head home, reaching your original pick-up point by the late evening.

A terrible nights lack of sleep due to hotel staff knocking on the door and telephoning the room as there was a drainage problem somewhere not in our room I might add there was a loud banging all night which we would have been unaware of if not awoken by security staff, this seriously impacted on our day at ascot. As if this was not enough the coach left far later than stated and involved taking onboard passengers from another bus which had broken down this resulted in us missing our connecting homeward train and cost us an extra £45 for a taxi to take us home as it was too late for any other form of transport. Also despite an e mail to Newmarket outlining themabove as I believe a justified complaint I have had nothing in the form of redress from them so I do not recommend them.

We really enjoyed our break away to Ascot, the hotel was very comfortable, clean & welcoming. The event itself was great. We would highly recommend this break to friends and family.

We spent nearly four hours on a mini bus(feeder) just going to london from Kent!
Then had to pick up main coach.
The same on way home.
Only had enough time for something to eat and no time for shopping.
Hotel was good so was ladies day.
