Norway's Natural Wonders
Join Magellan in Tilbury for a classic spring cruise in search of the Aurora Borealis. Call at three stunning ports on the beautiful fjord- and island-dotted coast of Western Norway, then sail beyond the Arctic Circle to mainland Europe’s northernmost region.
Your cruise begins with a trip across the Channel to see Rotterdam's remarkable Markthal food market and Delfshaven's step-gabled houses and ancient wharves. Spend a day in pretty, pastel-painted of Alesund before cruising north, watching the skies in the hope of catching sight of the Northern Lights. See Tromsø’s towering cathedral, and spend two days in the Arctic port of Alta making the most of opportunities to discover the unique culture and traditions of Finnmark’s Sami reindeer herders. Explore some of world's most striking scenery as you head from the remote village of Honningsvaag to the North Cape Hall visitor centre at Nordkapp on an optional shore excursion, and visit Norway’s Viking capital, Trondheim, before calls in Andalsnes on spectacular Romsdalfjord and Bergen (the unofficial capital of the fjords) round off your cruise adventure.
