Northern Islands & Northern Lights
Join Magellan in Tilbury as she sails north in search of the Aurora Borealis - the enchanting and unforgettable Northern Lights. This superb cruise to Iceland will also reveal the stark but stunning landscape of this remote island-nation, and the friendly bustle of its capital, Reykjavik. Here the brightly painted buildings contrast sharply with the natural beauty outside the city, and you'll have time to take the lift to the top of the Hallgrimskirkja Church for a panoramic view, or visit the fascinating Arbaer Folk Museum and the Saga Museum.
Call in Rotterdam to discover a city of contrasts - from the stunning architecture of the Erasmus Bridge and the remarkable Markthal food market to the lovingly preserved Old Harbour and Delfshaven's step-gabled houses and ancient wharves. Spend lazy days at sea enjoying life on board, and make the most of opportunities to explore the Faroe Islands, Shetland and Orkney.
