Spend a week exploring three remote, beautiful islands on this late-spring cruise from Dundee during which Magellan will follow the Scottish coastline north to Orkney. Step ashore in Kirkwall to see St Magnus Cathedral, or cross the island to gaze out across the historic waters of Scapa Flow, before Magellan cruises further north to Shetland. Explore the island capital, Lerwick, or join an optional shore excursion to the remarkable archeological site at Jarlshof.
Your final port of call will be Tórshavn, the tiny capital of the Faroe Isles, a birdwatchers’ paradise in the heart of the Gulf Stream, and your cruise will end with a visit to the historic city of Newcastle. Each island you visit will offer up an enchanting mix of village life, local traditions and some of the most astonishing coastal scenery anywhere in Europe.
