    Today you'll stop in Kristiansand, Norway's fifth city, on the country's southern coast. One of Norway's most popular tourist destinations, Kristiansand is renowned for its beaches and Palmesus beach festival, its thriving creative arts scene, and as the home of Norway's largest zoo.

  • Arrive: 0800hrs

    Depart: 1900hrs

    Oslo, the Norwegian capital, welcomes Amy Johnson today. Step ashore to find a lively, friendly city, waiting to be discovered. Head off by yourself, or join a shore excursion, perhaps to the Viking Ships museum, where a trio of ancient craft are lovingly preserved, or to the Kon-Tiki Museum, where explorer Thor Heyerdahl's fragile balsa-wood craft is displayed.

  • Arrive: 1200hrs

    Depart: 2200hrs

    Beautifully set on Sweden’s west coast, the country’s leafy second city and largest maritime gateway, with its Dutch influences and Amsterdam-like canals, is a delightful place. Step ashore to explore the charming old town, with its with its lively cafés and restaurants, or perhaps to join a shore excursion into the Swedish countryside or to beautiful Helsingborg.

  • Arrive: 0500hrs

    Depart: 1700hrs

    Skagen, at the remote, beautiful northern tip of Denmark’s Jutland is Amy Johnson's final port-of-call. Here, where the two seas of Skagerrak and Kattegat meet off the ever-shifting spit of white-sand dunes known as Grenen, a colourful, artistic community has grown. It's home to several fascinating museums and galleries, and to a number of delightful crafts stores and cafés.

  • Arrive: 0800hrs

    Disembark in Tilbury, this morning, after a delightful cruise to some of Scandinavia's southern cities.
