Step ashore and wander the town’s pretty streets, marvel at the Haraldshaugen, a monument to the unification of Norway, and browse the interesting works at the Haugesund Art Gallery.

Geirangerfjord is one of the smallest but most beautiful fjords, its twists and turns marked by crashing waterfalls and ancient, beguiling villages. Explore the glorious landscapes of the fjord and its surroundings and visit the Norsk Fjordsenter, a museum that chronicles life in this beautiful place.

Today you’ll call at Olden, spectacularly located on the Nordfjord. This charming waterside town is the starting point for excursions through the scenic countryside to the famous Briksdal Glacier. Huge though it is, Briksdal's immense cliff of ice is actually just one of the 50 arms of the Jostedalsbreen Glacier, which broods over the entire eastern reach of Nordfjord.

Nestled on a branch of the stunning Sognefjord, Flåm is a tiny village near the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord, famed for its dramatic landscapes. Its highlight, the Flåmsbana Railway, built between 1920-1940, is a marvel, ascending 867m in under an hour, offering panoramic views and passing by remarkable natural wonders like the Kjosfossen Waterfall.

Compact and friendly, Bergen was once a great trading city within the Hanseatic League and is the birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. It remains Norway's second city and, despite being sheltered from the sea by its seven hills and outlying islands, is unashamedly nautical in outlook. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen (the old town) and take the Fløibanen funicular to the summit of Mount Fløyen.

Names - It is very important that all passenger names are exactly as per your passport although we do not require middle names.
Passport - Your passport must meet two requirements to travel to an EU country and to Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. It must be: Less than 10 years old on the day you return home (please check the "date of issue") and valid for at least 3 months after the day you return home (please check the "expiry date").
Visa - You do not need a visa for short trips to most EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. You’ll be able to stay for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period.
European Travel Information & Authorisation System (ETIAS) - Commencing in late 2023 or 2024, all citizens of the United Kingdom will require a ETIAS electronic form completed prior to their arrival into the EU and Schengen member countries. The cost for this travel authorisation will be €7.00 per person with exceptions for under 18’s and over 70’s. The latest information and further details can be found at www.etias.com.
