Our group sizes vary depending on the destination and the time of year. Our maximum group size can sometimes reach 50 at the most popular times, but there will often be times where this number is less. You can ask our Holiday Planners for more information based on your chosen holiday.

To guarantee joining a much smaller group, we have a wide range of tours where you’ll be part of a group with an average size of 18-20, and usually no more than 24:

Small Group tours- a wide variety of tour itineraries crafted just like our Classic tours but operating with a smaller group size, enabling you to dig deeper and explore off the beaten track.

Premier Collection tours - a range of more intimate tours for an elevated experience where you’ll also enjoy a lighter pace and more luxurious or unique accommodations.

Exclusively for Solos tours - a collection of itineraries designed specifically for solo travellers, with group sizes carefully balanced to foster like-minded connections.

Group transfers from and back to your arrival airport, Eurostar terminal or river cruise port are included in all our holidays where we book your transport for you. Transfers are not included for cruises booked with Ambassador Cruise Line or Fred. Olsen Cruise Line.

Should you choose to book a "make your own way" tour, you will be required to meet the group & Tour Manager at your hotel. Transfers from and back to your home address are not included.

To enable us to offer the best possible prices, ensure a seamless experience and really live up to our mission of providing exceptional wish-list holidays for groups of like-minded travellers, we do have a minimum group size requirement on many of our tours. This number varies depending on the destination and the types of experiences and accommodations included. You can ask our Holiday Planners for more information based on your chosen holiday.

You will need your A-ROSA River Cruise reference number. This will be provided to you with your Final Travel Documents which you should expect to receive approx. 10 days before you are due to depart. You can then use this reference to log into the A-ROSA website to pre-book your excursions.

Alternatively, shore excursions can be booked onboard when you arrive, as part of your welcome meeting.
