Itinerary

Day One

Board our coach at your pick-up point and travel with us to your hotel. After time to check in, relax, unpack, and enjoy an early evening meal (payable locally) our coach will carry you to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew. Here, a magical path has been laid out. Follow it into a world of twinkling lights, illuminated sculptures, and spectacular displays that's at once enchantingly different and entirely Kew.

Day Two

After a relaxed morning, our coach will take you into London's West End, where you'll have time to shop and explore before returning to the coach for the journey back to your original pick-up point.

Further Information

Coach seating arrangements

Your Tour Manager will have allocated seats for you on the main coach in advance, taking into consideration any special requests wherever possible, and will advise you where to sit as you board the coach. This will be your seat for the duration of the tour. (Seats are not allocated on any connecting services to and from the main coach.)

Joining your holiday

Your final travel documents, including the exact time and place of departure, will be sent to you approximately 10 days prior to departure, providing all payments have been made. We are unable to give exact departure times before this.

Special requirements

If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.

Disabled access

The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made. Christmas at Kew is an open-air event, so we strongly advise you wrap up warm with suitable clothing and footwear. The walking trail is approximately one mile long.

We were not allocated seats as we got on the the coach which created an issue each time we got on and off the coach as other passengers swapped seats. At one point we had to squeeze past people (and their large bags) to get onto the back seat (where we did not originally sit).

The 'Tour Manager' was ineffective, just reading out a few things that we might see at Kew Gardens and was unable to really provide a definite time for the departure the next morning.

We were concerned to read your description of the lack of seating arrangements and the service provided by you Tour Manager. Our Tour Managers are usually highly praised for their professional and friendly manner, and we apologise if, on this occasion, this was not your experience.

Wonderful hol. Lots of travelling, but relaxing on the coach and plenty of breaks. Just enough time in each place to see the highlights. Niagara Falls was all we hoped for, the sights in washing so familiar from tv and films, and although we have been to New York many times, the night time view from across the river was New and unexpected to us.
We would have liked to see Gettysburg, but the short trip there gave us a real taste of it.
Overall we were given all we expected and more.
