Neil Diamond Itinerary

Day One

Board our coach at your chosen pick-up point and travel with us to the Midlands. After time to relax at your hotel, we'll transfer you to central Birmingham for the highlight of your stay: a fantastic 50th anniversary concert by Neil Diamond, live at the Barclaycard Arena. During the show, he'll perform hits from albums such as 'Hot August Night', 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' and 'The Jazz Singer', plus songs from his latest album.

Day Two

After breakfast, we'll begin our journey home, stopping en route in the charming town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Wander the historic lanes, perhaps visiting Shakespeare's birthplace, or browse the many shops - from jewellers, antique shops and antiquarian bookshops to chocolatiers and cheesemongers.

We'll leave Stratford in the mid-afternoon, arriving back in your local area by mid-to-late evening.

Everything went according to plan and in fact, we arrived too early to book into the Holiday Inn so we had an unscheduled stop for an hour and a half in Coventry. There was time to relax at the hotel before the coach picked us up to take us to the venue. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The whole experience was good. We stopped in Stratford upon Avon the next day but I thought that 4 hours was a bit too long to spend there. However, there are lots of things to do and see and I did visit the Butterfly Farm which was lovely!

Didn't know we would stop at Coventry, but good idea, however did not have time for food and as no tour manager to advise what to expect at venue did not stop for for food and drink, but as Neil Diamond was nearly an hour late starting with no info. why. We paid to upgrade and seats were so far away from stage should have taken opera glasses.

An unacceptable amount of time was spent travelling by minibus - this was sold to me as a coach trip. The weekend was also spoiled by putting us up in a hotel outside the city . It took a further 2 hours to travel during Friday night rush hour, 5pm, from the hotel to the concert venue.

Concert was excellent, though not impressed with arriving at venue before 1800 for a concert that started at 2015
