Celebrate in a place full of glamour and tradition
BOOK BY 30TH NOVEMBER*
Fly south to warmer climes, to spend the festive season on the colourful shores of the Mediterranean. You'll enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of a delightful, family-run hotel in the heart of the charming resort of Alassio - popular with discerning visitors to the beautiful 'Riviera of Flowers'.
Fly to Nice, before making the scenic journey along the sparkling Cote d'Azur - one of the world's most famous coastlines. Continue across the Italian border to Alassio, set between tree-covered hills and the blue waters of the 'Med'. Rest and relax at the hotel, or venture out to explore the resort.
The first of our optional excursions takes in the chic resort of Rapallo and its exclusive neighbour Portofino. Alternatively, enjoy Alassio's superb sandy beach, seafront promenade and pier, its pedestrianised old town - full of shops, gelaterie and cafes - and its delightful formal gardens and galleries.
Today, a traditional Italian Christmas Eve will include a four-course dinner and games. You might also choose to join an optional excursion to the glitz and glamour of Monte Carlo, with its luxury yachts, royal palace and famous casino.
Day Three (Christmas Eve)
Enjoy a Christmas Day full of celebration, beginning with a glass of sparkling spumante. A scenic coastal drive will take in some wonderful views, before you round off the day with a five-course, traditional Christmas Dinner with turkey. Afterwards, dance the night away to live music at the hotel.
Day Four (Christmas Day)
Spend a relaxing Boxing Day enjoying the resort and your hotel, perhaps curling up with a book from its small library. You might also join a final optional excursion to two elegant Italian resorts - Ventigmiglia and San Remo, on Italy's famous 'Riviera of Flowers'.
This evening, a four-course farewell dinner by candlelight will conclude your Italian Riviera Christmas.
Return to the airport for your return flight after a wonderful Christmas break.
