Leaving the local area in the early morning we'll journey to the Chelsea Flower Show, arriving by mid afternoon. We'll remain here until 8.00pm, so you'll have plenty of time to search for inspiration. Wander the show gardens, examine the rare and unusual plants in the spectacular Floral Pavilions, browse the stalls in search of the latest gardening gifts and gadgets, and seek out advice from the gardening experts.

Day Two

Today we head to the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. One of the world's leading botanic research institutions, Kew has a fascinating history of Royal associations, and a magical mix of landscaped lawns, formal gardens, glasshouses and over 30,000 plants. Entrance to Kew Palace, the smallest English royal palace, is also included.

In May, the bluebell wood, the lilacs and the water-lily house are at their best and the new 320-metre Broad Walk Borders will be coming to life. Above all, don't miss the extraordinary multi-sensory experience of The Hive, which translates the real-time activity of a beehive into a concerto of sound and light.

After a fascinating day, we'll reboard the coach and head home, returning to the local area by mid to late evening.

I have been to Chelsea and Kew many times. This trip was perhaps the best. Everything went really smoothly and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

A well organised trip, excellent courier and driver. The hotel accommodation was very good still able to get a meal after we arrived back after 9pm, the breakfast buffet which was included in trip was also very good. Overall good value for money.

The Chelsea Flower Show was brilliant, as usual and is a wonderful experience for gardeners of all abilities. Syon House was very interesting, wonderful grounds and gardens in a lovely setting. The house itself was very interesting, plenty to learn about all the periods in history that it has gone through.
The holiday was spoilt by us having to wait three quarters of an hour for the coach to pick us up, from Chelsea, after having been told that we MUST be there on time. Some people, therefore, had stood there for an hour to an hour and a half. One person was taken ill and had to have a taxi to take them to the hotel. When the coach did arrive, there was no apology or explanation by either the driver or tour manager. All the other coaches had long since been and gone!
There was no apology the next day either. This spoilt the whole trip completely.
The tour manager didn't give enough information throughout the trip really.

Coaches old. Second feeder coach diabolical, may have passed their own checks and MOT but the inside of the coach was very tired and the ride was awful (as per my letter of complaint). In our minds Roseland Coaches must be taken to task over this coach, seriously it could not have been up to the standard that Newmarket would expect to be provided. Hotel tired and not particularly comfy. Customers were left with the feeling that we might not get home that night and didn't feel safe.
Your letter of reply to us has left us disappointed and we will never use you again!

Cambridge Couple
The visits to the Chelsea Flower Show and Syon Park were excellent, and the hotel was very good. What spoiled the holiday was poor organisation on the first day which meant that we arrived at Chelsea at 3:30pm without having had opportunity to have lunch. On the journey from Chelsea to the hotel the driver got lost and we spent about 45 minutes on narrow country lanes, eventually arriving at the hotel after 10pm.

Carmarthen Friends
We found it very well organised, the driver was excellent & the guide particularly so with his knowledge of the London area. Chelsea flower show was spectacular & well worth the visit but I don't think I would make it a regular thing-it was very hot & very crowded with too limited places to sit & there's only so much of being elbowed out of the way you can take. Kew on the other hand was just perfect. Room to spread out & relax, plenty of choices for food & drink & places to sit - the brilliant weather gave us the best day out!
