Itinerary

Day One

Leaving the local area in the early morning we'll travel to London and our overnight hotel. After check-in we'll head to the Royal Albert Hall for the highlight of our break - 'Christmas with the Stars'.

This marvellous show mixes traditional carol singalongs with children's choirs, a brass band, fantastic festive tunes and appearances by well-known celebrities. At the end of the concert, the coach will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Day Two

After breakfast, you'll leave your hotel for some sightseeing or the chance to do some Christmas shopping around Oxford Street, Knightsbridge and High Street Kensington. Alternatively, you may prefer to remain on the coach and enjoy a short sightseeing tour, which will take you past such world-famous attractions as St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace.

We begin our journey home in the afternoon, arriving back in the local area by mid to late evening.

This will be your seat for the duration of the tour. (Seats are not allocated on any connecting services to and from the main coach.)

The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Triple rooms

The majority of these consist of a double bed and an extra bed that is often only suitable for children. If this is a concern, you may wish to consider booking more than one room for your group.

Carols with the Stars at the Royal Albert Hall. The coach journey itself took from 9.15am to 1.30pm due to the number of pick ups although, we did have a 45 min stop at Warwick services. The hotel was adequate (Ibis Wembley) and situated close by a nice shopping area. The coach driver and tour manager were very nice and friendly. The concert was brilliant!! The only downside was the following morning going into London where it took longer due to traffic but, we still had enough time to sightsee and have some lunch before, heading home.

Very pleasant and without problems apart from someone coughing badly behind our sit most of the time. The hotel was pleasant although the bath unsuitable for older persons unable to climb the deep bath to have a shower!! - A welcoming light dinner/tea on arrival would have made it perfect (even if it has to be added to the cost of the holiday)
Otherwise, very nice indeed.

The guide Roger was loud and annoying, stupid unnecessary jokes, I asked him to not be so loud.. He did take note of that. Many people around us were of the same opinion.
The hotel was good, but because of the timing for the RAH we had no choice but to have a meal there. The meals they serve do not warrant a pre entertainment meal, the coach left before they served main meals. Our group had no choice but pizza, club sandwich, cesar salad amongst other things. It took so long to get into the city the next day, we had to abandon a small tour. It may be worth considering a trip outside the city in future. Sadly quite disappointed after taking a similar theatre trip a few weeks earlier and found the structure of the trip much better.

The whole experience was great except for the seating at the Royal Albert Hall. I'm height sick and the seating was scary, high up in the top circle. We asked for upgraded tickets but were told they were all gone. My friend and I have been 3 times now and have enjoyed it each time . The first trip we got upgraded seats, the following year we sneaked down to the arena and found some vacant seats there. We did the same this year.

The Royal Albert Hall trip was brilliant..
However the hotel prices for dinner & drinks...wear very expensive i know you do not have control over there prices...perhaps meal deal may be worth looking into with coach parties. you take to this hotel..

The other thing i found was the length time it takes get back into London for the site seeing tour after breakfast, the next day...along with 3hr stop in convent garden then it takes for ever to get back out London for the return home...trip....

WOULD IT NOT BE WORTH WHILE FOR ALL JUST GO FOR THE AFTERNOON PERFORMANCE ON THASE TRIPS OR EVENING PERFORMANCE..which ever is applicable...FOLLWED BY HOTEL for the nights stay...

THEN AFTER BREAKFAST TAKE US back to our drop off points for HOME...

CUT OUT THE LONDON SITE SEEING TOUR..ETC...The people whom have the first or last pick up drop offs..have very long way travel..
we got on off at Colchester..that was bad enough to be on coach that length time.
{i no the time spent on coach was extended as there was accident at Braintree}
even with out this hold up theres no need go in out london..

we had experienced the same length time wasted the previous month when we went to Wembley..for the venease horses.show..

Why do we have return to london the next morning..takes upt 1.5hrs get in to london.
..up to 2 or 3,hrs get out London plus on top of walking around convent garden for 3hrs.
.seems complete wast of my time plus sitting on coach..all that time..

if you want site seeing tour of london shopping trip..thats fine do seprate typ of trip..

Just do day trip to show with over night stop then dinner/ breakfast home..next morning..
