A weekend of Yuletide cheer
Visit York's fabulously festive St Nicholas Fair on this not-to-be-missed Yuletide weekend. Bigger and better than ever, the Fair offers a magical mix of the finest crafts, gifts and food, festive fun, and entertainment, all set in one of our best-loved cities.
Leaving the local area early this morning we travel to lively Leeds. Here the main shopping area is compact and traffic-free, making it easy to get around. You'll find all the major high street names, as well as interesting shops, trendy boutiques, the first Harvey Nichols store to open outside of London and the city's renowned German Christmas Market.
Enjoy an early evening meal (payable locally) before we continue to the hotel.
This morning we head to historic York and its St Nicholas Christmas Fair, which winds across the city from the Coppergate Centre, through the medieval Shambles, to Newgate Market.
Enjoy the festivities, soaking up the unique atmosphere, and perhaps buying some unusual and interesting Christmas presents, before we begin our journey home, arriving back in the local area in the mid to late evening.
York Area Hotel
You will be allocated a good hotel within an hour and a half's drive of York, such as the Campanile Hotel, Bradford, the Quality Hotel, Hull or the Days Hotel, Wakefield. All rooms in all hotels have private facilities, TV, radios and telephones, and all the hotels have good restaurant and bar facilities.
Your Tour Manager will have allocated seats for you on the main coach in advance, taking into consideration any special requests wherever possible, and will advise you where to sit as you board the coach. This will be your seat for the duration of the tour. (Seats are not allocated on any connecting services to and from the main coach.)
Coach seating arrangements
Your final travel documents, including the exact time and place of departure, will be sent to you approximately 10 days prior to departure, providing all payments have been made. We are unable to give exact departure times before this.
Joining your holiday
Where meals are not included, your Tour Manager will ensure there are suitable stops made for you to purchase and enjoy lunch and/or dinner each day.
If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.

The majority of these consist of a double bed and an extra bed that is often only suitable for children. If this is a concern, you may wish to consider booking more than one room for your group.
