Enjoy all-inclusive service, the wonders of Austria, Czechia and Hungary, and several riverside towns during this wish-list Danube sailing.
Take in the treasures of Europe’s second-longest river, and the European capitals that line its banks, with an all-inclusive eight-day cruise along the Danube. Starting with a flight to elegant Vienna, you’ll board your refined Croisi ship, MS Beethoven, and set sail. The first full day of your cruise will take in charming Melk, a riverside town crowned by a magnificent 11th-century abbey, which you’ll explore on an included excursion. The second part of today’s tour will introduce Dürnstein, ahead of an overnight sailing to Bratislava. In the Slovakian capital, you’ll see the city’s baroque highlights before sailing overnight to Budapest via the Puszta, Hungary’s ‘Wild West’, which can be explored on an optional activity.
The sailing will then arrive in the Hungarian capital, and you’ll explore its distinctive twin districts, Buda and Pest, on a guided tour. Starting with a visit to Buda, with its leafy suburbs and historic monuments, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Danube from Castle Hill and the Royal Palace before heading across the river to cosmopolitan Pest. After time spent exploring the city’s famous thermal baths and waterfront landmarks, you’ll be free to continue exploring at leisure or on an optional excursion ahead of the return leg of your sailing to Vienna.
