Fly to Edinburgh where you'll meet your tour manager and transfer to your hotel in the city’s famed Old Town.
Relax, unwind and spend the rest of the day at leisure, no doubt looking forward to a fabulous few days in Scotland and of course, seeing the inimitable André Rieu in action.
Enjoy a morning at leisure in Edinburgh, known as ‘Athens of the North’. Perhaps take a strong along the lanes and wynds of the Royal Mile, and gaze upon the Palace of Holyrood House and the impregnable Castle atop its rocky promontory.
This afternoon, you’ll be transferred by coach to Glasgow, where you’ll have time for a bite to eat before heading by coach to the SSE Hydro for tonight’s concert, the undoubted highlight of the trip.
Acknowledged as one of the world’s greatest living musical legends, André Rieu was classically trained and is now an accomplished violinist, an excellent conductor and a truly great showman. Rapt audiences sway with his delightful music, hum along and even dance in the aisles, so prepare yourself for a truly unforgettable evening.
Spend a glorious day in the Trossachs, an outstandingly beautiful area of mountains, lochs, rivers and woodlands steeped in history and forever associated with the likes of William Wallace, Rob Roy MacGregor and Mary Queen of Scots.
Take in Loch Lomond, one of Scotland’s largest lochs, where you can admire the picture-perfect views, then continue to the Kelpies, a stunning 30-metre sculpture of two horseheads that is the largest equine sculpture in the world.
Return to Edinburgh to enjoy a final evening at leisure in the city.
Transfer back to Edinburgh airport for your return flight at the end of a wonderful few days north of the border.

An Airport Development Fee has been introduced at a few UK Airports. You will be required to pay this charge at the following airports prior to checking in for your flight: Durham Tees Valley & Norwich. The amount varies from airport to airport, but it is generally between £5 and £10 per person (not included in the price of your holiday). Please visit the airport's website for further information.
We sometimes need to combine transfers to and from your hotel. We always try to keep any wait to a minimum, but you may be asked to wait at the airport for up to an hour, while other incoming flights arrive, before the transfer to your hotel. Similarly, we may need to transfer you back to the airport up to three hours before your flight home departs

The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
