Escorted Tours of the Grand Canyon

Truly a sight to behold, the Grand Canyon is one of the seven wonders of the world and certainly one of America’s must-sees.

At a mile deep, 270 miles long and up to 18 miles wide, it can be tough to grasp just how truly awe-inspiring the Grand Canyon is, without standing on its edge and feeling its enormity. The layered bands of red rock, carved by the Colorado River, reveals about two billion years of geological history.

Located entirely in northern Arizona, the Grand Canyon is one of the most visited national parks in the United States. The immense chasm has developed over millions of years, and for thousands of years, many Native Americans have inhabited the area, building settlements and the Canyon’s many caves. The park was founded as Grand Canyon National Monument in 1908 by President Theodore Roosevelt and became a National Park in February 1919.

The national park divided into two main areas; the North Rim and the South Rim. The more popular South Rim sits between borders of two Indian reservations: the Havasupai Indian Reservation and the Hualapai Indian Reservation, and also offers several viewpoints including the Grand Canyon Village and Desert View.

The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is open all year while the North Rim is closed for the winter. Individuals must pay a $15 entrance fee, though this may be covered on our tours.
