Fly from your selected airport to Italy and transfer to your allocated hotel.

Days Two to Seven

Spend the days relaxing at the hotel, or head out to explore Sorrento and the surrounding area. Alternatively, join one or more of our great-value optional excursions, which give you the opportunity to discover some of the region's treasures.

Your hotel will either be situated along the Sorrento Peninsula or in the resort of Sant Agata.

Hotel transfer times

The transfer time from the airport to your hotel is approximately one hour from Naples and four hours from Rome.

Combining hotel transfers

We sometimes need to combine transfers to and from your hotel. We always try to keep any wait to a minimum, but you may be asked to wait at the airport for up to an hour, while other incoming flights arrive, before the transfer to your hotel. Similarly, we may need to transfer you back to the airport up to three hours before your flight home departs.

Meals in Italy

Guests on half-board arrangements will be served a three-course evening meal, and can expect a first course of traditional pasta or soup, a main meat or fish course accompanied by one or two types of vegetable, and a simple dessert of fruit, cake or Italian ice cream. Breakfasts will usually consist of bread rolls, jam, cereal, ham, cheese, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Menus will vary from hotel to hotel, but choice will be more limited than in a normal restaurant.

Entrance fees

Since some attractions visited offer free admission to visitors at certain times of year, we do not include entrance fees. These will be payable locally where applicable. This applies to excursions that are included in the price of your holiday and to excursions booked as optional extras.

Special requirements

If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.

Disabled access

The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Italian hotel room tax

Some regions of Italy have introduced a room tax of between 1 € and 3 € per person per night, payable directly by the guest to the hotel on check-out. You will be advised by your tour manager in resort if a particular hotel is implementing this charge.

Airport development fees

An Airport Development Fee has been introduced at a few UK Airports. You will be required to pay this charge at the following airports prior to checking in for your flight: Blackpool, Durham Tees Valley, Newquay and Norwich. The amount varies from airport to airport, but it is generally between £5 and £10 per person. Please visit the airport's website for further information.

A very good holiday with excellent tour managers.

Very disappointed that the outbound flight was changed at the last moment with no notification sent by Newmarket. I just noticed the flight change time by accident.

Please keep customers updated via text or email as parking and travel arrangements may have to be changed and penalties have to be paid.

Sadly the hotel allocated on arrival, Hotel Club in Sorrento, fell far short of what one might reasonably expect from a 4 star hotel. Having to choose the evening meal at breakfast from a very limited menu, with no choice of desert? Then too often the main course was disappointing, even inedible. And an unripe peach for desert? Not four star. We have previously gone "4 star allocated on arrival" with Newmarket in Italy, and had an excellent family run hotel, so we were not expecting to be let down. Turns out other operators grade Hotel Club as 3 Star. Newmarket standards are not to be relied upon. No doubt out of Newmarkets control, but the flights were re arranged meaning convenient times changed to arriving at 1 am, and getting home at 3 am. Apart from that, Sorrento is wonderful.

Our Flights were changed Which was extremely unhelpful and meant us arriving home at 3 am. Therefore all plans for that day had to be cancelled. The Hotel was below 4 star standard no draws to put clothes into and although the staff were good and so was the food the situation and standard of hotel was very disappointing.

Ok until we tried to return home - absolutely awful treatment - The chartered plan never arrive because of technical problems - but if the Newmarket staff had handle the situation much better and not left 150 people stranded in Naples airport with no news as to what was happening - your customer service is atrocious!! handled the situation appalingly. After keeping us at the airport for 12 hours then to be told by a rep that we had to collect our luggage and get on a coach, to be taken to a conference hotel in Naples given raw food to eat and the held there for a few hours while the reps found Hotels for us to stay in, then watched the reps and coach drivers arguing then driving off 12.25AM back to hotels which we arrived at ours 1.45am with no representative from Newmarket holidays - to the door of a hotel, with no information about what was happening the next day? fabulous!!

Airline not prepared. No food except complimentary tea and biscuit on way out. Check in at Naples so slow. 1.5 hours queuing and then no time to have coffee or shop before boarding. Then only enough hot food for 6 approx rows.
Hotel was excellent. Area at Santa Agata lovely. Tours very good.
