You'll begin at lakeside Toronto, from where you'll visit awe-inspiring Niagara Falls, for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to take a helicopter ride above the tumult. Continue along the famous 'Maple Leaf Trail' to Canada’s romantic capital Ottawa and stylish Montréal, from where an included excursion takes you to historic, charming Québec City. The next day you fly west to Calgary and make the scenic journey to exquisite Banff, capital of the Rockies. Travel alongside the turquoise waters of Lake Louise to historic railroad town of Jasper, via the renowned Icefields Parkway.
At Jasper, you’ll board the famous Rocky Mountaineer train for a scenic two-day journey along the picturesque Yellowhead Route, passing towering Mount Robson and heading through the scenic wonderland of the Monashee and Caribou mountains. Break your journey with an overnight stay in historic Kamloops, then re-board the Rocky Mountaineer as you continue through the magnificent Rockies to glittering Vancouver for a two-night stay, a fitting finale to a wonderful adventure.

Fly to Toronto, meet your tour manager and transfer by coach into the city, heading to your hotel for the next two nights. During this journey, your tour manager will give you a brief introduction of the city and its main sights. Relax and enjoy your first evening in one of North America’s most engaging, cosmopolitan, and cultured metropolises.
Today’s excursion will be an unforgettable highlight of your tour as you travel by coach around the lake to wondrous Niagara Falls. Marvel at the spectacular views, perhaps taking an optional 10-minute helicopter ride above the waters or soaking up the view over lunch from the vantage point of an overlooking restaurant. Later, you’ll return to Toronto, where you can perhaps spend the evening enjoying its legendary hospitality in one of the many restaurants.
This morning, you'll board the coach and journey along Lake Ontario’s northern shoreline, following the Maple Leaf Trail that leads past handsome Kingston and north to romantic Ottawa. Here, you’ll see the charming Victorian houses and the famous Rideau Canal of Canada’s beautiful administrative capital before continuing to Ottawa, where you'll spend the night.
Set off on a scenic morning drive to Montreal and upon arrival, spend the afternoon at your leisure. Alternatively, you can join an optional guided tour of Montreal, seeking out the sights of its many boroughs and meandering through its streets of European charm and modern North American style.
Those travelling on the 4 June 2024 departure will stay overnight in Quebec City.
Today’s excursion takes you to the historic Québec City, one of Canada’s oldest settlements, which overlooks the mighty St Lawrence River, its skyline dominated by the monumental Citadelle. Once here, you'll be able to join an optional guided city tour before you explore the narrow, cobbled alleyways of Basse Ville and its hilltop Haute Ville counterpart, which together form the endlessly enthralling Vieux-Québec.
Today, you'll transfer to Montréal Airport to board the flight west to the oil and cowboy town of Calgary. From here, you'll continue through the amazing scenery, travelling by coach up into the heart of the Rockies to exquisite Banff.
Explore the stunning capital of the Rockies, and its majestic setting, today. Take the opportunity to join exciting optional excursions that include a cable-car ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, a trip to scenic ‘Surprise Corner’, a viewpoint overlooking the famous Banff Springs Hotel, and a helicopter flight across the Rockies for a close-up view of the towering peaks.
A memorable day awaits as you journey, first, to beautiful Lake Louise, its turquoise waters - frozen for much of the year - set against the awesome backdrop of Victoria Glacier. You'll then travel along the renowned Icefields Parkway to the historic railroad town of Jasper, at the gateway to the scenic Jasper National Park. Keep your eye out for the elk, moose and even bears that call this part of Canada home.
Discover Jasper at your leisure, or perhaps join today’s scenic optional excursion, which will include a ride on the historic Jasper Skytram – Canada’s longest cable car – and a journey to spectacular Maligne Lake. For the young at heart, there's also the chance to join an exciting optional Jasper Motorcycle Tour – an exhilarating adventure on the back of (or in a sidecar attached to) a Harley Davidson ridden by a professional rider.
This morning, begin your journey on the legendary Rocky Mountaineer, following the path of the North Thompson River past Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls and Yellowhead Pass, and through the scenic wonderland of the Monashee and Caribou mountains. Enjoy breakfast and lunch on board the train as you gaze in awe at the majestic scenery, and arrive in Kamloops in the late afternoon to transfer to a comfortable overnight hotel.
Re-board the train to continue your spectacular journey to the coast. Highlights will include the mighty Fraser River, the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon, and the stunning coastal ranges that rise up as you near beautiful Vancouver. Once again, you'll enjoy breakfast and lunch on board, and once you arrive in Vancouver, you'll transfer to your next hotel. Relax, or head out to enjoy your first evening in a city often voted among the best places in the world to live.

This morning, you're free to do some last-minute shopping and sightseeing in Vancouver before you head to the airport to board the overnight flight home.
