Join Magellan at Dundee as she sails north to the Faroe Islands to explore the stunning landscape that surrounds Kollafjørður and its black-walled, turf-roofed church. Magellan then turns south, and cruises to the Shetland Isles, to maritime Lerwick, built on a superb natural harbour. Continuing her voyage, Magellan then sails to The Beatles’ hometown of Liverpool, completing a wonderful cruise.

  • Spend today relaxing, and getting to know Magellan, her crew and your fellow passengers.

  • Arrive: 0700hrs

    Depart: 1600hrs

    The ’stretched’ village of Kollafjørður welcomes Magellan to the Faroes today. Tiny Tórshavn is the capital of this cluster of remote islands, home to countless bird species and deep-rooted Norse traditions. On an optional excursion to other islands, you might cross the famous Bridge Across the Atlantic, which connects the main island, Streymoy, with smaller Eysturoy.

  • Arrive: 0900hrs

    Depart: 1900hrs

    Your next port is the Shetland capital, Lerwick. Spend time exploring this rugged but enchanting town, or join an excursion to the 3,000 year-old archaeological site at Jarlshof, with its Bronze and Iron Age remains.

  • Spend today relaxing on board Magellan.

  • Arrive: 0900hrs

    Magellan reaches Liverpool today, where you'll disembark after a wonderful cruise. 

    An optional coach transfer back to Dundee will be available to book in advance.
