As you journey between a collection of volcanic Atlantic islands, you'll revel in their dramatic nature and unique beauty from on board Bolette and during unforgettable explorations ashore. A wealth of wonders awaits amongst the emerald-green islands and azure waters of the remote, hard-to-reach Azores. At São Miguel Island, the scenes of the Sete Cidades Volcano, with its 13-kilometre-wide crater and colourful lakes, are a must-see, while the Furnas Valley hot springs and Terra Nosta Park’s haven of gardens, geo-thermal pools and forests are particular highlights too. Meanwhile, Terceira Island’s picturesque south coast is an undoubted attraction to seek-out during your visit to Praia da Vitoria; take a scenic journey to witness its rugged volcanic beauty, visit UNESCO-listed Angra do Heroísmo, and enjoy views from atop Monte Brasil volcano.
In the Canaries, visits to three different islands on consecutive days will provide plenty of highlights; you can see the natural wonders of San Antonio Volcanic Park, such as the Teneguia Volcano, up-close on La Palma, scale Mount Teide for unforgettable views of Tenerife’s volcanic landscapes, and seek-out the volcanic sites of La Gomera too. For a laidback experience, perhaps opt to head to the island’s sun-kissed beaches, and even indulge yourself at La Gomera’s Olsen family-owned Tecina Hotel. Finally, Madeira awaits to provide one final island discovery. From Funchal you can take in forested landscapes via the levada walking trails; see and smell the vibrant colours and scents of botanical gardens, on a flower safari with a local enthusiast; and indulge with sweet Madeiran wines. You’ve also a chance to enjoy the Atlantic views from Cabo Girao, before seeing this impressive sea cliff from on Bolette as you depart Madeira and head for home.

Rules may have changed since you last travelled to European Union countries as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. The following are useful guidelines which will help you prepare for your next adventure. You do require government issued passport to travel.
Names - It is very important that all passenger names are exactly as per your passport although we do not require middle names.
Passport - Your passport must meet two requirements to travel to an EU country and to Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. It must be: Less than 10 years old on the day you return home (please check the "date of issue") and valid for at least 3 months after the day you return home (please check the "expiry date").
Visa - You do not need a visa for short trips to most EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. You’ll be able to stay for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period.
European Travel Information & Authorisation System (ETIAS) - Commencing in late 2023 or 2024, all citizens of the United Kingdom will require a ETIAS electronic form completed prior to their arrival into the EU and Schengen member countries. The cost for this travel authorisation will be €7.00 per person with exceptions for under 18’s and over 70’s. The latest information and further details can be found at www.etias.com.
