Role profile

We’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to help us take our website and booking journey to new levels! This is an initial 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become permanent.

You’ll be our sole product designer (for now!), working closely with ecommerce, tech, and our in-house graphics studio. You’ll take the lead on UX/UI thinking and execution across multiple initiatives, including some exciting new projects for the business. There is much room for improvement and we're confident the right person will really make a difference.

And ultimately, you'll help shape the digital experience for thousands of travellers each month.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating with the Head of Ecommerce, Website Manager, and Business Analysts to redesign key areas of our website and booking flow.
  • Leading the development and evolution of our design system to ensure a consistent, scalable user experience.
  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
  • Handing over design work to developers with thorough documentation and reviewing output before release.
  • Owning end-to-end design for several new digital products and features.
  • Presenting design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and incorporating feedback through testing and iteration.
  • Supporting the Ecommerce team with other digital initiatives, such as email design and campaign assets.

What we're looking for

  • A strong UX thinker with sharp UI skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to work within brand guidelines while still bringing fresh, thoughtful solutions to the table.
  • Confident collaborating across teams – ecommerce, marketing, developers, BA, and brand design.
  • A champion of design systems who values consistency, clarity, and usability.
  • Basic understanding of accessibility best practices and a commitment to inclusive design.
  • Highly organised, with clean design files and smooth handovers to dev teams.
  • Proficient in Figma and experienced in prototyping and testing.

Who you are

  • 5+ years’ experience designing for ecommerce websites – ideally within travel, hospitality, or retail.
  • At least 2 years’ hands-on experience designing booking flows or checkout journeys (must be evident in your portfolio).
  • Experience designing for older or less tech-savvy user groups is a plus.
  • A passion for travel is a bonus.

What we can offer you

  • A growing and multi-cultural, team-spirited environment with opportunities to learn from new experiences and challenges.
  • A responsible organisation that cares about its people, the environment, and the communities we visit.
  • A flexible and hybrid-working environment.
  • Your own desk in our office (no hot desking!).
  • An exciting set of benefits, including discounts on our holidays.
