European river cruising your way

Join us in 2018 and ‘19, as we explore Europe’s finest waterways. Experience breath-taking gorges, flower-strewn lowlands, vineyard-covered hillsides and fascinating riverside towns and cities from the comfort of your river cruise vessel.

Cruise along the spectacular Rhine, following its languid path from Switzerland, through France and Germany into Holland; or discover central Europe’s sweeping Danube, which flows through regal Vienna and vibrant melting pot Budapest. Or experience France’s most famed waterways: the Seine, which passes historic Rouen, romantic Paris and picture-book Les Andelys, and the Rhone and Saone, which flow southwards, past world-famous vineyards to the beguiling warmth of the Mediterranean Sea.

Danube

The second longest of Europe’s rivers, the sparkling Danube links modern-day southern Germany with Eastern Europe’s Black Sea, via stately Vienna and exhilarating Budapest. Said to have supported human life for over five millennia, today the river takes in a variety of cultures, languages and peoples, across ten countries, and offers the perfect vantage point from which to experience this beautiful, intriguing corner of the world.

Rhone and Saone

Rising from the precious and ever-shrinking Rhone Glacier in the Swiss Alps, the Rhone’s waters flow first into the shimmering body of Lake Geneva, before tracing a path down from its Alpine source and carving through France’s incredibly picturesque south – towards the warm shores of the Mediterranean. On its banks sit Burgundy’s famed vineyards, historic Lyon – at the river’s confluence with the languid Saone – and medieval Avignon, famed for its Palais des Papes and Pont d'Avignon.
