Itinerary

Day One

Fly from the UK to Dubrovnik, meet your Tour Manager, then transfer to your hotel in Brela, a coastal town on the shores of the Adriatic.

Day Two

Vibrant Split welcomes us on today's included tour. Wander the Old Town, visit the palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian and browse the colourful marketplace. We continue to the walled, island-town of Trogir. Through a 'Land Gate', discover a time-warped jumble of palaces, ancient churches, and hidden courtyards. After exploring, we'll return to the hotel for dinner.

Day Three

Today's included excursion takes in the tumbling waterfalls, deep gorges and picturesque lakes of the beautiful Krka National Park, which stretches some 12 miles up a valley from the delightful harbour-town of Skradin. See the Park's cascades, and perhaps stroll through the verdant surrounding forest on prepared wooden walkways.

Day Four

This morning we'll head past the River Neretva delta to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Mostar, with its lovingly-restored bridge across the river. After exploring this colourful town, a UNESCO-listed area boasting one of Europe's oldest continuously running markets, you'll travel to your second hotel base - close to Dubrovnik.

Day Five

Discover Dubrovnik today. Join our included, guided tour and see the Sponza Palace, baroque St Blaise's Church, and the Franciscan Monastery - home to Europe's oldest pharmacy. View Dubrovnik and the blue Adriatic from the city walls, and spend a free afternoon sightseeing or shopping, before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day Six

Today we visit stunning Montenegro. See the Bay of Kotor - Southern Europe's largest fjord - and explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kotor itself. We'll visit picturesque Budva, before returning to Dubrovnik.

Day Seven

Enjoy a final day's relaxation, perhaps returning to Dubrovnik's enthralling streets once more for some more sightseeing and shopping, or taking a dip in the clear blue waters of the Adriatic. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day Eight

Bid farewell to Croatia, and transfer to the airport to board your flight home, at the end of a wonderful holiday.

Further Information

Hotel transfer times

The transfer time from the airport to your hotel is approximately three hours. The return transfer is approximately 30 minutes.

Combining hotel transfers

We sometimes need to combine transfers to and from your hotel. We always try to keep any wait to a minimum, but you may be asked to wait at the airport for up to an hour, while other incoming flights arrive, before the transfer to your hotel. Similarly, we may need to transfer you back to the airport up to three hours before your flight home departs.

Special requirements

If you have notified us of any special requirements, please check that they have been noted and acknowledged. This is especially important with any dietary needs you may have.

Disabled access

The majority of our tours involve a certain amount of walking, including a short walk from the coach stop to the town, attraction or venue you're visiting. If you are bringing a wheelchair, please let us know at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Itinerary changes

Occasionally, for operational reasons, we may have to change the order of the excursions on your holiday. The final day-by-day itinerary will be confirmed on your Final Travel Documents, which you will receive approximately three weeks prior to your departure.

Airport development fees

An Airport Development Fee has been introduced at a few UK Airports. You will be required to pay this charge at the following airports prior to checking in for your flight: Blackpool, Durham Tees Valley, Newquay and Norwich. The amount varies from airport to airport, but it is generally between £5 and £10 per person. Please visit the airport's website for further information.

*Low deposit of £49 per person applies to new bookings made between 21st June and 31st July 2017 (inclusive) only. This offer only applies to selected air-inclusive holidays. This offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.

NICOLA

Cambridge Single traveller
The holiday covered the three places I wanted to visit: Split, Montenegro and Dubrovnik.
It was good that the free day was scheduled so it could be spent seeing more of Dubrovnik.
Could have done with one more free day to do a boat tour but then most people need the Sunday to recover before going back to work.

A few niggles with the hotels. Nothing major.

I knew a coach holiday is exhausting but then we had to cover a lot of miles.

Blessed with excellent weather the trip was certainly full on. Our free day was the last one which couldn't come soon enough. The schedule of historic and scenic was good. Spilt was fascinating if a little requiring attention. Mostar was till run down after the homelands war, but Dubrovnick was spectacular and definitely the highlight. The Bay of Loctar in Montenegro is worthy of mention for being beautiful.
The only troublesome aspect of the holiday is the amount of time on the coach each day. The roads on the Croation coast are single lane and windy. Not Newmarket's fault but simply a surprise for new visitors to Croatia like ourselves.
