Day One

Leaving your pick-up point, early this morning, we'll travel by coach to your hotel, making comfort stops en route. After time to freshen up, we will continue to the Royal Albert Hall, for the highlight of our break - this evening's 'It was 50 Years Ago Today' Beatles celebration concert, hosted by legendary Liverpool poet Roger McGough and with music arranged by Nigel Osborne.

Let the music carry you back to the heady days of 1967 as you enjoy a live performance of some of the most celebrated, diverse and era-defining tunes in the history of popular music - 'With a Little Help from My Friends', 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds', 'When I'm Sixty-Four' and many more.

At the end of the evening, your coach and tour manager will be on hand to take you back to your hotel, allowing you to relax and enjoy the memories of this incredible evening.

Day Two

After a buffet breakfast, this morning, we'll head into Central London for a short sightseeing tour that includes some of the sights forever associated with the Fab Four. Starting at Abbey Road, we'll see the Beatles Store, the venue where four of the five Beatles films were premiered and more.

You'll then have time to explore and, perhaps, return to the Beatles Store, check out the musical memorabilia in the vault beneath the Hard Rock Cafe or visit the British Library - home to some exceptionally rare Beatles artefacts.

We'll begin our journey home in the mid afternoon, and should be back at your original pick-up point by mid-to-late evening.

For a Beatle fan this was a coach trip perceived in heaven. The seats were high up at he Albert Hall, but everything was in view and the sound was clear. It was an excellent show. The tour manager pulled out all the stops with so much information and handouts the next morning, we loved every minute of it.

Did not like being so high up in the gallery! Trip to London the next day was quite chaotic but understandably so due to traffic and other hold ups. The driver did his best.

The Sgt. Pepper concert was excellent... at least once the painful introduction was out of the way! The journey down and the following day's themed London tour did not seem well planned, with the tour guide, although perfectly pleasant and effective overall, did not seem to have it fully worked out. He did have the good sense to listen to the coach driver, who was excellent in his driving and suggestions, and who coped well when problems presented themselves. At the end of the day, my wife and I, like others on the trip, seemed to have had a good time!
