This centrally located hotel is close to the National Library and just three subway stops from the Colosseum. The hotel is traditionally furnished, and its public areas include a breakfast room and a lounge. Rooms are wood-panelled, sound-proofed, air-conditioned and each has free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and a hairdryer.
Hotel President, Chianciano Terme (nights 4-8)
The recently renovated President Hotel boasts a roof-top swimming pool and bar, from which there are stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Tuscan hills. The hotel is just a five-minute drive from the baths, and offers air-conditioned rooms each with a balcony, free Wi-Fi, TV and refrigerator. The restaurant serves Tuscan cuisine and buffet breakfast, and there is a garden and games room.
