Highland gateway Invergordon is your first port of call, before charming Lerwick and picturesque Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, the largest town in the Hebrides. Continue to Mull, before turning south to vibrant Belfast with its glittering Titanic Quarter development and colourful Irish maritime gateway Cobh. Marco Polo then continues her voyage south, where calls at the sunny Scillies, southerly Guernsey and historic Portsmouth complete this wonderful cruise.

    Board Marco Polo in Hull, today, and settle in to your cabin as she prepares to set sail late this evening.

  • Spend your first full day on board relaxing and getting to know the ship, her crew and your fellow passengers.

    Depart: 1700hrs

    This morning we'll tie up in the great natural harbour at Invergordon on Scotland's rugged East Coast. Step ashore to explore, or join an optional shore excursion, perhaps to Loch Ness in search of Nessie. Golfers may head to the fine course at nearby Dornoch, while whisky connoisseurs can make a pilgrimage to the celebrated Glen Ord Distillery.

    Depart: 1800hrs

    Your next port is the Shetland capital, Lerwick. Spend time exploring this rugged but enchanting town, or join an excursion to the 3000 year-old archaeological site at Jarlshof, with its Bronze and Iron Age remains.

  • Arrive: 0800hrs

    Depart: 1900hrs

    This morning, Marco Polo anchors off Stornoway, the capital of Lewis. Explore the town, or take the excursion to the mysterious and ancient Standing Stones at Callanish, thought to be nearly 4000 years old.

  • Arrive: 0700hrs

    Depart: 1900hrs

    The tiny port of Tobermory on the beautiful island of Mull, with its picturesque waterfront of brightly painted buildings, is a delightful place to explore. Why not head to nearby Duart Castle, the famous seat of Clan Maclean?

    Depart: 1500hrs

    Early this morning, Marco Polo arrives in historic Belfast. Explore the city centre, visit the Titanic Quarter, where the Titanic Belfast Experience pays homage to the ill-fated vessel, or join an optional excursion to the vast stone staircase of the Giant’s Causeway on the Antrim Coast beyond.

  • Arrive: 0700hrs

    Depart: 1500hrs

    Marco Polo arrives in Cork's long, narrow harbour at Cobh, this morning. Shore excursions here offer you the chance to discover this historic capital of southwest Ireland, to head into the beautiful rolling countryside to fashionable Kinsale or to visit famous Blarney Castle, just north of the city, for a chance to kiss the Blarney Stone.

  • Arrive: 0730hrs

    Depart: 1900hrs

    This morning finds us in the Isles of Scilly. Marco Polo anchors here in sheltered waters, giving you the opportunity to go ashore. Explore Hugh Town on St Mary's and the flower-strewn byways beyond, or stunning Tresco, where the famous Abbey Gardens house Britain's finest subtropical plant collection.

  • Arrive: 1000hrs

    Depart: 2200hrs

    Portsmouth has a long, proud maritime history. Visit the refurbished D-Day Museum to see the 82-metre long embroidery of images and events from Operation Overlord, or perhaps head to HMS Victory, HMS Warrior or the Mary Rose Museum

  • Spend your last day on board making the most of Marco Polo's facilities.

  • Arrive: 0645hrs

    Bid farewell to Marco Polo and all your fellow travellers after breakfast, today, as you disembark at the end of your cruise around the UK.
