Spend another leisurely day at sea as Magellan cruises towards Nicaragua.
Day Five: San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua
Set around a long, crescent-shaped bay, the laidback beach town of San Juan del Sur is a hit with cruise travellers and surfers. Step ashore to explore its dainty town centre, or head off along the coast to explore the stunning, more secluded beaches nearby.

The final call on Magellan's journey is Belize City, which sits between a tropical rainforest and a colourful coral reef. Travel inland to discover ancient Maya temples or cross the turquoise waters to explore the nearby Cayes (islands).
Day 12: Cozumel, Mexico
Today Magellan arrives at the island of Cozumel, off the coast of the Yucatan peninsula. As well as boasting some of the region's best diving and snorkelling, it's also the starting point for optional shore excursions inland to the astonishing Maya ruins at Chichen Itza. Here, the vast pyramid of the Temple of Kukulcan towers above the magnificent Ball Court, the largest in Mesoamerica, where games were held to choose sacrificial victims for the jade-encrusted red jaguar altar-throne.

Your Central American voyage concludes in Cancun. Disembark after lunch and transfer to Cancun airport for your overnight flight home.
