    Lerwick, the Shetland Islands' rugged capital, is your gateway to an ancient land of legend, traditional crafts and an incredible abundance of bird life. Discover the town, or join the optional excursion to the 3,000 year-old archaeological site at Jarlshof, with its Bronze and Iron Age remains.

  • Arrive: 0900hrs

    Depart: 1800hrs

    Tiny, Toytown-like Tórshavn is the capital of the Faroe Islands. Explore its confusion of lanes, narrow passages and black-tarred houses with green turf on the roofs, or join an excursion, perhaps to cross the famous Bridge Across the Atlantic connecting the main island of Streymoy with the spectacular scenery and ancient wooden churches of smaller Eysturoy.

  • Arrive: 0800hrs (Day Seven)

    Depart: 1900hrs (Day Nine)

    Magellan spends three full days in Reykjavík, the world's northernmost capital. Here, brightly painted wooden buildings contrast sharply with the stunning beauty of its setting beneath Mount Ejsa. Step ashore to explore, take the lift to the top of the Hallgrímskirkja Church for a panoramic view, or visit the fascinating Arbaer Folk Museum and the Saga Museum.

  • Arrive: 0700hrs

    Depart: 1400hrs

    This morning, Magellan arrives in her final port, historic Belfast. Explore the city centre, visit the new Titanic Quarter developments that pay homage to the ill-fated vessel, or join an optional excursion to the vast stone staircase of the Giant’s Causeway on the Antrim Coast beyond.

  • Arrive: 1200hrs

    Bid farewell to Magellan and all your fellow travellers in Bristol, today, as you disembark at the end of your cruise.
