Discover little harbours hidden beneath the rugged Highland and Island scenery of Cromarty Firth, Orkney, Mull and the Isle of Skye, and explore Belfast’s historic harbour and Titanic Quarter. See Oban on the Firth of Lorn at the mouth of spectacular Loch Linnhe, and cross the Channel as Magellan calls at the pretty, French port of Honfleur at the mouth of the River Seine.

Board Magellan in Liverpool today, and settle in to your cabin as she prepares to set sail at around dinner time.

Magellan's first call is Dublin. This great city of culture, once home to Joyce, Yeats, Wilde and Swift, is one of Europe's most engaging capitals. Grafton and O'Connell Streets are popular with visitors, as are the city's famous bars and pubs, cafés and coffee shops.

Magellan will call in Bristol, this morning, to let some of your travel companions disembark, and you’ll have time to step ashore and explore this lively university city.
Spend your first full day at sea relaxing and getting to know the ship, her crew and your fellow passengers.

Crossing the Channel to France, your next port of call is Honfleur at the mouth of the Seine. Wander the streets behind the pretty harbour, or perhaps join an optional excursion into the surrounding countryside.
Relax on board as Magellan spends another day at sea.

This morning we'll tie up in the great natural harbour at Invergordon on Scotland's rugged East Coast. Step ashore to explore, or join an optional shore excursion, perhaps to Loch Ness in search of Nessie. Golfers can head to the fine course at nearby Dornoch, while whisky connoisseurs can make a pilgrimage to the celebrated Glen Ord Distillery.

Today Magellan arrives in Kirkwall, Orkney's historic capital. Wander the streets and marvel at magnificent St Magnus Cathedral, or join an excursion to the sheltered waters and World War battle site at Scapa Flow, to Churchill's famous Barriers or to the Italian Chapel.

The Isle of Skye is your next port of call. Spend the day in picturesque Portree, with its quayside fish and chip shops, or join an excursion and head north, past the Old Man of Storr, to Duntum's Museum of Island Life; west to brooding Dunvegan Castle; south past the spectacular Cuillins; or even across the bridge to mainland Scotland.

The tiny port of Tobermory on the beautiful island of Mull, with its picturesque waterfront of brightly painted buildings, is a delightful place to explore, as is nearby Duart Castle, the famous seat of Clan Maclean.

Magellan's next stop is the pretty port of Oban on the rugged west coast of Scotland. Take a stroll around the harbour, or join a shore excursion, perhaps to one of the many nearby whisky distilleries, before Magellan sets sail for Northern Irish waters.

Early this morning, Magellan arrives in historic Belfast. Explore the city centre, visit the Titanic Quarter, where the Titanic Belfast Experience pays homage to the ill-fated vessel, or join an optional excursion to the vast stone staircase of the Giant’s Causeway on the Antrim Coast beyond.
Spend a final day relaxing on board as Magellan sails south and home.

Bid farewell to Magellan and all your fellow travellers, today, as you disembark at the end of your cruise. An optional coach transfer back to Liverpool will be available to book in advance.
