Norway's spectacular coast

Join us on board elegant, spacious Columbus, the proud flagship of the CMV fleet, to sail into the hidden tranquillity of two breathtaking Norwegian fjords. Discover Hardangerfjord’s gleaming waters, the remote village of Flam on Sognefjord, and explore the historic city of Bergen on this unbeatable value, summer cruise.

Columbus is normally a child-free ship, but this cruise is offered to passengers of all ages over six months, giving you the chance to share an unforgettable voyage with your children and grandchildren.

What does this price include?

  • 6 nights' accommodation in your choice of cabin
  • Full-board arrangements including full breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and midnight snacks
  • On-board entertainment as arranged
  • Calls at ports as detailed in the itinerary
  • The services of a friendly, professional crew and cruise staff
  • Port charges and taxes

Your Itinerary

  • Board Columbus in Tilbury today, and settle in to your cabin as she prepares to set sail.
  • Spend today relaxing, and getting to know the ship, her crew and your fellow passengers.

  • Enjoy spectacular scenery as Columbus cruises through the 100km-long Hardangerfjord to Eidfjord. Here you can go ashore to enjoy an optional excursion through the beautiful surrounding countryside, perhaps taking in the famous Voringfossen waterfalls.

  • The tiny village of Flam, at the inner end of Aurlandsfjord, welcomes Columbus today. Here you'll have the chance to join an optional excursion and board the world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway for the journey to Myrdal. Later this afternoon, the ship navigates her way into stunning Naeroyfjord where some of fjordland's prettiest scenery awaits.

  • Compact and friendly, Bergen was once a great trading city within the Hanseatic League. It remains Norway's second city and, despite being sheltered from the sea by its seven hills and outlying islands, is unashamedly nautical in outlook. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.

  • A final day at sea, reliving the memories of your cruise holiday.

  • Bid farewell to Columbus and all your fellow travellers, today, as you disembark at the end of your cruise.

Days marked above with an anchor include ports where you will be transferred to shore by landing boat. These ports may be inaccessible for customers with mobility difficulties as a result. Any days not listed will be spent at sea.
