Life on board Columbus
There's far more to Columbus than we could possibly fit on this page. Click below to find out more about her cabins, restaurants and other excellent facilities.
WHAT DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE?
Day One: Depart London Tilbury
Board Columbus at London Tilbury. You’ll sail early this evening, and enjoy your first dinner on board. Get to know the cruise staff and some of your fellow passengers before you retire to your cabin.
Day Two: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Today Columbus stops in Amsterdam. Browse the stalls of the Ice Village that springs up beside the huge ice rink on Museumplein, watch the skaters carve elegant lines across the ice, or follow the walking trail around the light sculptures, art installations and projections that spring up in the city's squares and along the canals every winter.
Day Three: Hamburg. Germany
After a morning cruising north, Columbus arrives in Hamburg. Here, the lively Christmas Market fills the Rathausmarkt (town hall square) with the sounds of fairground music and the scents of gingerbread and gluhwein. Browse the stalls in search of unusual Christmas gifts and unexpected treats, or perhaps head into the St Pauli district where music venues like the Indra Club and Kaiserkeller are still hosting new bands more than 50 years after the Beatles left their stages.
Day Four: At sea
Enjoy a day at sea, and rest and relax on board, as Columbus cruises home.
Day Five: Arrive London Tilbury
Arrive back at London Tilbury and disembark after a delightful Christmas market cruise.
Days marked above with an anchor include ports where you will be transferred to shore by landing boat. These ports may be inaccessible for customers with mobility difficulties as a result. Any days not listed will be spent at sea.
British Citizens will need a full, 10-year passport to travel on this cruise. Since some countries require visitors to be valid for at least six months after the return date of the cruise we recommend that all customers ensure that this is the case. Holders of non-British passports should check with the relevant embassies to see if any requirements and restrictions exist for any countries visited during the cruise.
